How do fans sign up?
Fans scan the QR code you bring to shows or visit your BandAlert profile link. On their phone, one tap opens a prefilled text - they hit send and they're subscribed. On a computer, they verify their phone number on the page instead. Either way there's nothing to download and it takes about 15 seconds.
What does it cost?
Free up to 50 fans and 2 gigs a month, with email alerts. Basic is $10/month for up to 100 fans and SMS + email alerts. Premium is $30/month for up to 300 fans, more gigs, and priority support.
Do fans need an app?
No. Fans sign up through a web page and get gig reminders as regular text messages (or email on the free tier). Nothing to install, and it works on every phone.
Is this compliant with SMS opt-in rules?
Fans explicitly opt in by verifying their own phone number before you can text them, every message supports replying STOP to unsubscribe instantly and HELP for support, and reminders only go out when you actually have a show. You're still responsible for how you use the platform - our Terms of Service (linked in the footer) have the details.
